This senior leader guides multidisciplinary teams while supporting food safety, regulatory, environmental, and corporate standards. The position advances reliability, operational excellence, process optimization, and sustainable manufacturing through engineering analysis and project governance.Key Responsibilities:
Lead engineering teams through coaching, objectives, and continuous improvementDevelop and oversee the site capital expenditure programManage project planning, budgeting, commissioning, and closeoutCoordinate consultants, contractors, suppliers, and engineering firmsEnsure capital projects meet safety, schedule, budget, and compliance requirementsRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related disciplineTen-plus years’ progressive engineering experience in industrial manufacturingFive-plus years managing multidisciplinary engineering teamsDemonstrated success managing large-scale capital projectsProfessional Engineer designation or eligibility preferredBring capital project leadership, industrial utilities knowledge, and engineering strategy to Maple Leaf Foods’ poultry manufacturing operations.
