Expected Start Date: September 25, 2026 Union: SUN Facility: Battlefords Union Hospital City/Town: North Battleford Department: Mental Health Community Day&Night Care - OP Psych Medical Type: Part-time regular FTE: 0.32 Shift Information: Days, Nights, Evenings, Weekends Number of Hours per Rotation: 4 shifts of 11.78 hours per 4 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Extended Shift Hours (11.78) Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse B $42.040 to $52.440 Travel Required: Yes Job : Competent clinical practitioner assisting individuals, groups and families with health-care needs ranging from uncomplicated to complex and rapidly changing status. Demonstrates a caring approach which reflects and incorporates expertise. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience- Exp in the last 5 yrs with acute and chronic psychiatric disorders
- Exp in the last 5 years in psychiatric assessment & intervention required
- 2 yrs exp in Acute Psych or Comm. Mental Health nursing or a combo of the two.
Education
- Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing (BPN)
Other Education and Training
- Basic CPR, ASSIST preferred
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Bachelor of Nursing is acceptable
- Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
