What you will be doing:

• Implement initiatives to reduce workplace incidents and hazards.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce the health and safety system.
• Communicate corrective actions and prevention techniques across AGAT’s operations.
• Prepare for, conduct, and coordinate COR audits as required.
• Manage supporting documentation and records.
• Compile statistics and reports for clients and managers.
• Manage workers’ compensation claims to reduce claim cost impacts.
• Organize and conduct investigations into incidents, including harassment.
• Travel to company sites to conduct inspections and support health and safety initiatives.
• Provide advice to employees regarding health and safety concerns.
• Advocate for continuous improvement in health and safety.
