Summer Gym supervisor

Job Responsibility:

The Valemount Climbing Club is currently seeking a responsible and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Summer Gym Supervisor . This is a part-time, contract position running from June through August , with 10-12 hours per week scheduled primarily on weekends . The position offers a wage of $21 per hour .

Key Requirements:

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older .
• Comfortable working with diverse populations , including children.
• Willingness to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check .
• Basic First Aid certification is required.
• Demonstrated experience with technology (e.g., check-in systems, basic troubleshooting).
• A genuine interest in climbing and promoting an inclusive climbing environment.

About Us: The Valemount Climbing Club is a non-profit society based in Valemount, British Columbia . Our mission is to promote the sport of rock climbing and foster inclusive, community-oriented spaces for climbers of all ages and abilities. We are passionate about creating a welcoming environment where individuals can learn, grow, and connect through climbing.
