Job Description

We are looking for a Material Planner to join the A220 commercial aircraft program’s Material Planning team in Mirabel, Quebec, Canada. The role is at the heart of Final Assembly Line (FAL) operations and involves coordinating part deliveries, supporting production, and ensuring supplies are delivered on time. Benefits

Ensure supply to the workstation (parts, major components, work packages) in strict compliance with the integrated plan Define part delivery priorities in collaboration with the Work Planner Provide visibility by delivering Estimated Completion Dates (ECD) for all parts under your responsibility Collaborate with the Supply Officer regarding coverage charts Execute transactions related to supply planning in SAP Manage the cannibalisation process as gatekeeper and approver for requests Communicate priorities to the Supply Officer group based on the manufacturing plan and emergencies Manage alerts and elevate critical issues to supervisors, managers, and directors at the right time Analyze material overconsumption and validate discrepancies Drive continuous improvement, optimizing tasks and services related to the function Act as focal point within the natural team for all missing parts within your scope Support ANDON alerts upon request of the Work Planner Participate in Airbus Operating System (AOS) routines when required Support expediting of consumables and Kanban system during issue escalations Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations and Logistics Management, or College Diploma (DEC) with equivalent experience 2–5 years of relevant experience in logistics or production planning Experience in the automotive or aerospace industry is an asset Strong interest in continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing principles Good understanding of written and spoken French and English (asset) Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project) Proficient in Google Suite (Files, Docs, Slides) Experience working with SAP is an asset Commitment to integrity and compliance with potential risk avoidance Airbus is committed to achieving workforce diversity and creating an inclusive working environment.
