Recruitment Assistant

Cleantech Service Group is looking for a motivated and organized Recruitment Assistant to join our HR Department. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, coordinating multiple tasks, paying attention to detail, and supporting the recruitment process from the initial application through onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the full recruitment cycle.
• Post and update job advertisements on Indeed, BreezyHR, and other recruitment platforms.
• Review resumes and applications and identify qualified candidates.
• Conduct pre-screening phone interviews.
• Schedule online and in-person interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
• Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including employment documents, criminal record checks, and other required paperwork.
• Maintain accurate candidate and employee records in HR systems.
• Complete 10-day follow-up calls with new hires.
• Provide general administrative support to the HR and Recruitment team.
• Perform reference checks by contacting previous employers and verifying candidates' employment history and references.
• Support other recruitment and HR-related duties as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in recruitment, human resources, administration, or a related field is an asset.
• Education in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline is an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Slack, Google Workspace, Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Meet.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective organizational and time-management skills.
• Professional, positive, and service-oriented attitude.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

What We Offer

Full-time, 3-month position with the possibility of becoming a permanent position after 3 months.

Salary: $50,000 per year.
