Dematic Canada is looking for an enthusiastic engineer with up to 2 years of experience in controls engineering. In this position, you will work on PLC programming, create electrical layouts, and commission engineering design projects. The role involves building relationships with customers and contributing to complex engineering challenges in a growing industry.
Key Responsibilities: - Create electrical layouts and schematics for projects - Design and validate PLC programs using Allen Bradley or Siemens - Implement and commission industrial material handling controls - Conduct onsite pre-commissioning and acceptance testing - Provide customer startup support and address project risks
Requirements: - BS/BA in Electrical Engineering or related field - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical preferred - Familiarity with Ethernet IP network design - Ability to travel up to 25% for customer job sites
