Project Accountant at GCS Hybrid Role

Elevate your finance career at GCS as a Project Accountant/Bookkeeper in the solar energy sector. Manage investment accounting and collaborate with management in a hybrid setting. In this role, you will report to the VP of Client Financial Reporting. You’ll be responsible for full-cycle accounting, precise month-end processes, and financial oversight. Your expertise with financial standards will ensure compliance with IFRS and/or US GAAP, while working closely with senior management and external auditors to streamline operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle accounting for various entities
- Facilitate month-end close with detailed reconciliations
- Prepare balance sheets and comprehensive income statements
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and US GAAP standards
- Collaborate with management and auditors for accuracy
- Minimum of 3 years in accounting operations
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA coursework is a plus
- Proficient in QuickBooks and strong with Excel
- Highly organized and adaptable to change
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
