Commercial Legal Counsel at Ebury

Take your legal expertise to Ebury as a Commercial Legal Counsel in Toronto, working in a hybrid model that values collaboration and innovation. This role focuses on excellent legal advice while supporting Ebury's growth in North America. Ebury is seeking an enthusiastic commercial lawyer with at least five years of experience. This pivotal role requires a proactive mindset and covers a variety of legal matters, including corporate structuring and regulatory compliance. You will be integral in providing legal support to Ebury's operations across Canada and the United States. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement new products for U.S. market entry
- Draft and negotiate commercial contracts, including sponsorship agreements
- Advise on corporate structuring and regulatory compliance
- Manage legal matters for North American operations
- Support corporate governance activities for North American entities
- Law degree in Canada or the U.S.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in corporate law
- Interest in fintech and financial products
- Experience with regulated institutions is a plus
- Strong communication skills with stakeholders
