Associate General Counsel for Startups

Enhance legal operations in a dynamic startup as an Associate General Counsel. Oversee litigation, regulatory compliance, and provide strategic legal guidance across the organization.
Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you'll be integral to providing expert counsel on regulatory issues and dispute management. This role requires a detailed-oriented approach and an innovative mindset to thrive in a high-growth environment. You will work closely with business units, advising on both employment and IP matters, while managing litigation and partnerships with outside counsel.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage overarching litigation and dispute strategies
• Develop and implement litigation management systems
• Provide daily legal advice to operations and product teams
• Ensure effective collaboration with outside attorneys
• Draft litigation-related documents and briefs
Requirements:
• J.D. or L.L.B. with license in U.S. or Canada
• 8+ years in legal experience with financial services focus
• Expertise in managing litigation processes
• Proven record in developing legal systems
• Interest in creative problem-solving in fintech arenas
Contribute to legal strategies while fostering positive relationships and ensuring seamless operations in regulatory and dispute resolution processes.
