Retail Area Manager (QC Region)

MINISO Canada is currently expanding and we are looking for a Retail Area Manager to support stores across Quebec (QC region) . This role will primarily cover locations across Quebec, including Montreal and surrounding areas.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all supervised stores operate smoothly and comply with the company’s standards and procedures
  • Develop budgets and set sales targets for each store within the QC region
  • Recruit, interview, train, and develop store management and associates
  • Manage day-to-day store operations according to company guidelines and conduct regular store visits to ensure proper execution
  • Oversee inventory management, distribution of goods, and store layout optimization
  • Strategically analyze and improve overall store performance and operational effectiveness
  • Monitor, analyze, and report key performance metrics and business statistics
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient operational flow
  • Set, review, and control budgets, including labour costs and operating expenses

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of retail management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Eligible to work in Canada
  • Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and able to work independently
  • Strong merchandising and visual display skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual (English & French) is required for the QC region
  • A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are required, as travel between store locations within Quebec is expected
