Insurance Advisor (Level 1 or Level 2) - Kensington Insurance Services Ltd.

About the Role

Kensington Insurance is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Insurance Advisor with a minimum Level 1 General Insurance License to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent role for someone who enjoys helping clients navigate their insurance needs and takes pride in delivering excellent service. If you communicate well, work effectively as part of a team, and are flexible with scheduling, including weekends, we'd like to hear from you.

Work Schedule

• Full-time, 5 days per week
• Weekend availability required (Saturdays and/or Sundays)
• Willingness to work a variety of scheduled shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Process ICBC transactions accurately and efficiently
• Provide personal lines quotes, endorsements, renewals, and remarkets
• Manage and maintain the office's personal lines book of business
• Assist walk-in clients with ICBC transactions and inquiries
• Answer incoming calls and respond to client questions
• Help clients identify and meet their insurance needs
• Sell travel insurance products
• Issue marriage licences
• Support producers with client service and administrative tasks
• Build positive, long-term client relationships

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 1 General Insurance License (required)
• 2+ years of insurance industry experience preferred
• Experience with ICBC transactions and personal lines insurance
• Mandarin language skills are a strong asset
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Professional, detail-oriented, and customer-focused
