Our client, a manufacturing organization specializing in industrial production, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production support team supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Bridgewater, NS
Pay Range: $19.05/hour + shift premiums
Shift: Day Shift Only (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM)
What's the Job?
- Operate rewinding machines safely and efficiently
- Inspect materials for alignment, defects, and quality concerns
- Perform quality checks and verifications throughout the process
- Complete production and quality documentation
- Use hoists and carts to move materials as required
What's Needed?
- Previous manufacturing, production, machine operation, or industrial experience is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to follow written procedures and instructions
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer and record-keeping skills are an asset
