Compensation: Competitive total compensation package, including bonus
Shift: Two-weeks on, two-weeks off rotation

DNDC is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our team during an exciting period of growth and project delivery. This position has been created to support a cross-shift with the current Project Manager, providing the opportunity for knowledge transfer, relationship building, and a seamless transition of responsibilities across DNDC's diverse and dynamic project portfolio.
This is more than a project management role. It is an opportunity to lead projects that support community priorities, create local opportunities, strengthen partnerships, and contribute to the long-term success of DNDC and the Ross River community.
This role is based on-site at the Faro Mine during shift rotations and includes attending meetings in Whitehorse and Ross River, YT when required.
What You’ll Do:

- Lead projects from planning to close-out.
- Coordinate teams, contractors, vendors, resources, and stakeholders.
- Track progress, manage risks, and adjust plans as needed.
- Oversee construction activities, contractor selection, reviews, and site inspections.
- Represent DNDC at designated project sites.
- Manage contracts, amendments, scope changes, and close-out deliverables.
- Build respectful relationships with leaders, partners, vendors, subcontractors, and communities.
- Ensure projects meet scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Lead, mentor, and support project team members and subcontractors.
Who You Are:
- Experience managing environmental, construction, infrastructure, mining, or related projects from planning to close-out.
- PMP or P.Eng. designation is considered an asset; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, contracts, change management, and project controls to monitor scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
- Experience managing contractors, consultants, tenders, procurement, and multi-stakeholder projects, especially in remote or northern environments.
- Proficient with project management, scheduling, and reporting software, and able to quickly learn new systems and processes.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills with leadership, communities, contractors, regulators, and project teams.
- Experience working with Indigenous communities and organizations, with a respectful approach to engagement, community priorities, and partnerships.
- Proactive and solutions-focused, with sound judgment to resolve issues independently and escalate when needed.
- Willing and able to work rotational schedules, travel to remote project sites, including construction and mine sites, and work in northern environments as required.
- Hold a valid driver’s license and have a clean driver’s abstract.
