Technical Writer III - Lab Operations

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Technical Writer III to develop analytical method validation protocols, transfer documentation, and technical specifications for laboratory operations. The role involves translating complex scientific information into clear documentation while mentoring other technical writers and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare method validation and transfer protocols, reports, analytical methods, and specifications
- Conduct analytical assessments of compendial updates and generate corresponding work plans
- Attend client meetings to clarify technical documentation requirements
- Author advanced reports including Elemental Impurity Risk Assessments
- Provide training and technical guidance to other Scientific Technical Writers
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or related science discipline
- Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical laboratory work experience
- Strong knowledge of analytical method validation requirements and practices
- Proficiency in GMP, GLP, ICH, and FDA compliance standards
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Chemstation, and OpenLab software
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively
Compensation: $62,500.00–$90,000.00 annualized
