ARAMARK is hiring Cashiers for its Food Services department at Bishop’s University.

Position: Cashier

Location: Bishop’s University
2600 College Street, Sherbrooke, QC J1M 1Z7

Salary: Starting at $17.00/hour, to be discussed during the interview

Schedule: Saturday and Sunday evenings

Start Date: Immediate

Job Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
• Operate the cash register.
• Follow all cash handling procedures.
• Assist with food service setup and preparation.
• Refill refrigerators and display coolers.
• Clean service areas.
• Comply with all established safety regulations and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• Previous cashier experience is considered an asset.
• Customer service experience required.
• Experience in food service or the restaurant industry is an asset.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Customer service oriented.
• Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset, as some of our customers are English-speaking.

The successful candidate for this position will be required to complete a criminal background check and, where applicable, a Vulnerable Sector Check. Employment with Aramark is contingent upon results deemed satisfactory by Aramark.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00.
