Remote Engineering Manager at EPE

EPE is hiring a remote Engineering Manager specializing in EMT modeling and power system studies to shape the future of energy. Lead projects while developing the next generation of engineers. In this role, you will utilize your 8+ years of experience in power system modeling to perform crucial studies and guide technical teams. You'll be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards and managing client relationships effectively. Your leadership will play a vital part in the organization's growth strategy. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead comprehensive power system studies including insulation coordination
• Develop dynamic models and ensure effective benchmarking
• Conduct steady state studies across various metrics
• Provide advisory support to energy developers and large load clients
• Mentor and develop junior Power Systems Engineers

Requirements:

• Over 8 years of experience in power system modeling
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, power systems focus
• Experience with data center dynamics is an asset
• Familiarity with conventional generation dynamics is preferred
• Experience in control system tuning is a plus
