Registered Practical Nurse Evening Shifts

Become a Part Time Registered Practical Nurse with evening shifts at Southbridge Care Homes in Ottawa. Focus on providing outstanding care through effective management of medications and health plans. This position is essential for the proper delivery of nursing practices and quality support to residents in long-term care. You will utilize your training to execute established nursing protocols and work collaboratively with diverse healthcare professionals to maintain excellence in care standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and document residents' vital signs and health conditions
- Develop and update personalized care plans accordingly
- Lead nursing and personal care staff in daily activities
- Implement health care procedures and physician directives
- Organize palliative and restorative care services as needed
- Active certificate from the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Qualification for the Registered Practical Nurses Association
- First Aid and BLS certificates required
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices and infection control
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
