Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated 1A/3A Tow Truck Driver to join our Regina Camel Towing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional roadside assistance, towing, and vehicle recovery services. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to operate towing equipment safely and efficiently. Safely operate tow trucks and other vehicles to transport disabled or damaged vehicles.
Assess the situation of stranded motorists and provide necessary assistance.
Perform minor automotive repairs as needed to ensure safe towing.
Maintain accurate records of services rendered, including vehicle condition and any repairs performed.
Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates on estimated arrival times and service details.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on duty.
Conduct regular inspections of towing equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
Experience in commercial driving with a valid 1A/3A driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type.
Mechanical knowledge and proficiency in automotive repair techniques.
Ability to operate forklifts or other heavy machinery is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
