Job Description
The Quality Engineer will identify areas of improvement related to all manufacturing activities including supplier quality, process control, waste reduction, and continuous improvement for the manufacturing of plastic and metal consumer goods.
Required Experience & Skills
- 3+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role in a manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of experience using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience in an ISO 9001 (or similar) quality regulated environment
- Experience with production part approval process (PPAP)
- Experience with identifying and resolving manufacturing issues including PFMEA and root cause analysis
- BS in Engineering or related
Desired Experience & Skills
- Experience with injection molding manufacturing processes
- Experience with consumer goods manufacturing
- Experience with internal and external quality audits
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC)
- Six Sigma certification
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification
