S&T expanded the brand in June 2025 with a new concept studio,  REFORMD - the world’s largest-capacity Lagree studio, and will be bringing a fourth location in Toronto’s prestigious Yorkville neighbourhood in early 2026. We're expanding our Pilates Instructor team across our current studios and preparing to launch our next flagship location at Yonge & Yorkville in early 2026. About the Role

At Sweat & Tonic, we believe Pilates is more than movement - it's an experience. We're looking for Mat Pilates instructors who bring high-energy presence and technical precision to every class, creating a space where clients feel challenged, educated, and genuinely excited to come back.

In this role, you'll lead dynamic group mat classes built around thoughtful, progressive sequencing, where every exercise prepares clients for what's coming next. You'll deliver precise, well-timed cues that sharpen form and deepen body awareness without breaking the energy of the room and help clients understand the intention behind each movement, so the work resonates long after they leave the studio.

You'll offer modifications and progressions that keep every level engaged, and show up as a warm, high-energy presence that reflects what Sweat & Tonic is all about. The result is a class that feels demanding and alive, while staying grounded in movement quality and integrity.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver world-class fitness experiences that fosters confidence, competence, and enjoyment through challenging community-driven classes.
• Develop class programming, playlists, and signature elements that let your unique voice and practice shine within the S&T brand framework and standards of excellence
• Motivate and inspire clients and fellow team members, building genuine relationships inside and outside of class
• Arrive 15–20 minutes before each class, fully prepared to deliver an exceptional experience
• Live the S&T brand values: lead by example, be relentless in finding a way, and demonstrate that we are stronger together
• Participate in promotional events, photo and video shoots, and brand initiatives
• Represent Sweat & Tonic with pride — as an ambassador for the brand both in and out of the studio

Qualifications and Requirements

Required:

• Recognized mat Pilates certification
• Proven experience teaching group mat classes in a boutique fitness environment
• Deep understanding of anatomy, movement principles, and effective progressions on the mat
• Natural ability to read a room and adapt on the fly without losing class momentum
• A natural connector: someone who builds community and makes every client feel seen
• Open to feedback, coaching, and continuous growth
• Current CPR/AED certification

Nice to Have:

• Experience with complementary modalities such as yoga, strength training, or a kinesiology background
• An established following or demonstrated ability to retain and grow a client base
