Network Security Engineer

Location: Montreal, QC (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite Mandatory)

Job Responsibilities

• Communicate and coordinate designs and documentation with external vendors and internal technology-focused teams, including senior management.
  
• Lead the onboarding, deployment, and integration of Secure IoT firewalls into business-as-usual systems and processes.
  
• Lead operational support for multiple network security solutions including GCP cloud-native firewalls and Fortinet/Palo Alto solutions.
  
• Provide L3 operational support including incident management, troubleshooting advanced issues, and collaborating with internal and external technology teams/vendors.
  
• Implement monitoring solutions to ensure healthy and resilient infrastructure.
  
• Participate in off-hour operational on-call support when required.
  
• Create and supplement operational runbooks and documentation.
  
• Assist in knowledge transfer and training for global teams through recordings and documentation.
  

Required Technical Skills

• Strong experience with network security solutions such as:

• Experience working in cloud environments.
