Location: Calgary, AB Employment Type: Full-Time Pay Rate: $28.00 per hour Schedule: 1100-2130, Wednesday to Saturday Work Setting: On-Site

Please Note: First Aid, Use of Force (UOF), and MOAB certifications are required as a condition of employment. Paladin Security will cover certification costs with a six-month commitment to the position and availability requirements.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring all security guards adhere to site training requirements
- Assist the Security Supervisor with site training requirements
- Oversee all aspects of the daily security operations at the property including monitor and operate CCTV, access control, fire alarm and intrusion alarm systems
- Ensures compliance with WHIMIS and OH&S requirements
- Complete the responsibilities of subordinate staff as circumstances require
- Ensure managers and clients general standards at the Property are met

Must Have
- 3+ years previous security experience
- Valid Alberta Security License
- Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- The ability to work effectively with employee groups and build partnerships at all levels of the organization
- Flexible and adaptable in dealing with diverse situation and people
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace
- Ability to work outdoors, climb stairs, and navigate uneven terrain
- Ability to safely lift and carry 20+ lbs
- Physically able to perform first aid and assist with medical emergency and deescalation situations as well as complete extensive security patrols that may cover 15+ km per shift and include stairs and uneven terrain both indoors and outdoors
- Ability to successfully complete all required Paladin training and certifications within three months of hire
- Experience coordinating emergency response activities
