Here's what you'll be doing as a Junior Production Cook: Working in our production kitchen you will assist in preparing all food for delivery to Stella's restaurants and catering. Starting with cold-prep stations and progressing into oven operation, you will prepare following Stella's recipes with 100% accuracy. Duties and Responsibilities - Prep, prepare and portion product according to recipe manuals
- Maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of recipes
- Maintain production expediency
- Complete cleaning checklists
- Operate equipment such as oven, tilt skillet, steam kettle, gas stovetop, food processor, slicer, Alto Shaam oven and sous vide equipment
- Ensure product is stored and dated properly
- Responsible for clean as you go as it pertains to dishwashing and work areas
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of walk-in fridges, freezers and other storage areas
Requirements - Previous kitchen/cooking or Production Cook Jr. experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Verbal and written communication skills
