Job Description

BlueBlood Steakhouse is seeking motivated and experienced Barback to join our team. Candidates should have previous fine dining experience and a strong knowledge of cocktails and beverage service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bar opening and closing procedures.
• Organize and restock ice, alcohol, wine, glassware, garnishes, and other supplies.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, and wine in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure accurate and efficient service by maintaining strong knowledge of table and seat numbers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar area.
• Assist with cleaning coolers, storage areas, glassware, and disposal of waste and recycling.
• Maintain knowledge of food menu items, house cocktails, and classic cocktails.
• Assist with preparing syrups, infusions, garnishes, and other bar ingredients.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Valid Smart Serve certification.
• Previous fine dining or upscale restaurant experience.
• Strong knowledge of beverages and cocktail preparation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and passion for hospitality.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
