Construction Site Superintendent - Commercial Ground Up New Build - General Contractor

Job Description
- Manage all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to maintain project schedules and quality standards.
- Oversee compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements at the construction site.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular updates for stakeholders.
- Resolve any on-site issues or challenges effectively and in a timely manner.
- Ensure the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the construction process.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to achieve project objectives.
- Utilize knowledge of the local market and best practices to optimize project outcomes.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Site Superintendent should have:
- Proven experience in ICI GC site supervision and ground-up construction projects.
- Strong understanding of the local market and construction industry in Welland.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and stakeholders effectively.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards on-site.
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant educational background in construction management or a related field.
