As a student at PCL, you will get the opportunity for challenging work assignments in a supportive work environment which promotes personal and professional growth.We are seeking an Engineering Student for our Atlantic Canada District, within our Canadian Buildings Division, that is available for 4 months startingSeptember 2026 to work in Antigonish, NS.ResponsibilitiesAs an Engineering Student and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:Conducting trade quote reviews – verifying material quantities, hours, and rates.Conducting deficiency walks.Inputting and updating deficiency logs.Issuing warranties.Taking/coordinating progress photos.Updating, coordinating, and producing drawings.Performing quantity takeoffs.Coordinating and supervising sub-trade work.Verifying site conditions and coordinating with drawings.Setting up and maintaining record keeping.Updating project schedules.Obtaining scheduling information from sub-trades.QualificationsWorking towards a degree or diploma in a civil engineering or a related field preferred.A passion for working in a construction environment.Experience with the application of various computer software programs, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.Self-motivated with a hands-on approach.Prior field construction experience is considered an asset.Next StepPlease note that candidates who have been selected to move forward to the next stage of the recruitment process will receive an email to complete a short online video interviewPCL is an innovative, employee-owned company comprised of people who find passion in their profession and take pride in doing great work every day.
