Manager, Domestic Tax

Responsibilities

• Coaching and mentoring a team of tax colleagues on compliance, helping them walk in clients' shoes by discussing tax planning options
• Establish deep trusting relationships with clients as you advise them on complex tax matters
• Review corporate compliance engagements, and analyze, review and complete corporate, personal and trust income tax returns
• Proactively resolve tax-related issues with clients and other team members
• Act as a leader in the management of our growing tax practice, identifying and developing new opportunities for additional tax services

Qualifications

• You’re enrolled in, or have completed, the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course, or have a Masters of Taxation degree
• You’ve developed and presented new ideas and conceptualized new approaches and tax solutions for clients as part of your commitment to providing exceptional client service
• You have solid experience in corporate and personal Canadian tax planning and/or compliance
• You’ve helped mentor and develop others

We believe compensation should reflect more than just market data—it should reflect you . The current salary range for this role is $80,000-$125,400 in Penticton. If the role is available in other locations, the range may differ to reflect local market factors.
