Roadrunners is seeking a Service Writer / Sales Counter Representative to support independent truck owners in a busy heavy-duty truck repair environment. Reporting to the Shop Manager, this role combines customer service, service advising, parts sales, and tire sales while managing the full estimate-to-approval process. Wage will be determined based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Advise independent truck owners on service and repair needs.
- Prepare repair estimates independently and support technician-generated estimates.
- Obtain customer approvals and manage the full estimate-to-approval process.
- Sell parts and tires to meet customer and service department needs.
- Coordinate customer communication throughout the repair process.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in heavy-duty service advising.
- Knowledge of heavy-duty truck systems.
- Experience with work order management.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
