Main Street Church is looking for a relational, faith-filled leader to help establish and lead our new campus in Hope, BC.

Hope is a beautiful and growing community surrounded by mountains and rivers, with a strong sense of connection and tremendous ministry potential. We believe God has opened a significant door for us to establish a thriving, gospel-centred, Spirit-led presence in the heart of this community.

We have purchased a building that will become the home of our Hope campus.
More than a place for Sunday services, we envision it becoming a place where people experience community, find hope, encounter Jesus, and move toward wholeness. We see opportunities for worship gatherings, Alpha, recovery ministries, marriage and family support, prayer, care ministries, community partnerships, and much more.

The Opportunity

The Campus Pastor will have the opportunity to build something new while being fully supported and resourced by Main Street Church.

This isn’t about simply reproducing a Sunday service in another location. It’s about becoming part of the community, building genuine relationships, developing a healthy team, and living out the mission and values of Main Street Church in a way that serves the unique needs of Hope.

The Campus Pastor will be an extension of the leadership and ministry of Main Street Church in Chilliwack, BC. They will work closely with our Lead Pastor, Executive Team, staff, and ministry leaders while providing local leadership and pastoral presence in Hope.

The Role

The Campus Pastor will:

• Build meaningful relationships throughout the Hope community.


• Develop a strong pastoral presence within the church and community.


• Gather, equip, and lead a healthy team of staff and volunteers.


• Create a welcoming culture where people can belong before they believe.


• Help establish and lead weekly worship gatherings.


• Live out and champion the mission, vision, and values of Main Street Church.


• Identify the needs of the community and develop ministries that respond to them.


• Build relationships with local pastors, churches, organizations, and community leaders.


• Provide pastoral care, prayer, discipleship, and leadership development.


• Work closely with the Main Street Church team to ensure unity, alignment, and shared direction.


• Help people take their next steps toward wholeness in Christ.

• Aligns fully with the beliefs, mission, vision, and values of Main Street Church.


• Has relevant pastoral, ministry, or leadership experience.
