About the project

Would you like to play a key role in setting up a new logistics environment? This opportunity will allow you to actively participate in the launch and organization of a new warehouse in the naval sector. You will be the first person on site and will be responsible for structuring logistics operations, implementing warehouse processes and supervising a small operational team. This role requires autonomy, leadership and strong organizational skills to ensure efficient handling of material flows and inventories.

Main responsibilities

  • Set up the complete warehouse organization to ensure efficient receiving, storage and shipping operations.
  • Define logistics processes, including labeling, storage organization and material flow routing.
  • Supervise daily receiving, inventory and order preparation operations.
  • Perform entries and follow-ups in the ERP or inventory management software.
  • Coordinate shipments, transport documentation and relationships with carriers.
  • Coach and support a small team of 2 to 3 employees in their operational activities.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and maintain appropriate stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness and organizational standards in the warehouse.
  • Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes.

Qualifications

  • Experience in warehouse management, logistics or inventory management.
  • Ability to work autonomously and to structure a new working environment.
  • Experience or interest in managing a small team.
  • Good knowledge of an ERP or inventory management system.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with forklift (asset).
  • Bilingual in French and English required.
