Outside Parts & Service Representative - Heavy Equipment - Construction & Forestry (Timmins)

Brandt is currently seeking an Outside Parts & Service Representative for our Timmins Construction & Forestry location

This is an outside sales position responsible for promoting and selling construction & forestry heavy equipment parts and service, as well as providing after sales support to new and existing customers.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers with the goal of increasing sales and customer satisfaction
• Assist the Parts & Service departments to increase profitability and performance 
• Regularly prospect and cold call new accounts to discuss new promotions and programs
• Implement yearly territory plan including a customer target list to maximize sales potential
• Visit customers in Area of Responsibility (AOR); a minimum of 1 visit per month
• Keep customers current on new products and services
• Develop prospective customers with a goal of 2 per month
• Follow-up with customers on unit and machine performance
• Maintain and utilize the database records related to each customer including sales meetings, opportunities, quotes, notes, and any other documentation as required
• Work cooperatively with management to meet and maximize budget goals and expand customer base by presenting and implementing new marketing strategies
• Gather competitive product and pricing information and supply to management
• Participate in all required training and development opportunities
• Follow up on customer concerns and communicate effectively to the appropriate Management Team
• Maintain cleanliness, scheduled maintenance, and inventory for the company vehicle
• Other duties as assigned

• 2 - 3 years previous of sales experience in a similar role, or in a Parts or Service Department
• Journeyman ticket/Red Seal in Parts or Service is considered an asset
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract will be required
