Part-Time Nanny Needed (Live-Out) | Dartmouth, NS

I’m a single mom of two energetic girls (ages 5 and 3) looking for a warm, reliable, and caring nanny to become a long-term part of our family’s support system. While this is primarily a live-out position, I’m also open to discussing a live-in arrangement with the right long-term candidate if it’s a great fit for both of us. The ideal candidate is someone looking for a long-term role who can provide consistent support for our family. Most weeks will involve before and after school/daycare care, with occasional evenings and overnight care when I travel for work. Flexibility and reliability are especially important. Responsibilities may include:

• School and daycare drop-offs and pickups
• Preparing simple meals and snacks for the children
• Helping with homework, playtime, and bedtime routines
• Light housekeeping related to the children (tidying toys, children’s laundry, etc.)
• Occasional overnight care while I’m away for work
• Letting our small, very friendly Chihuahua outside for bathroom breaks (no regular walks required)

I’m looking for someone who:

• Has experience caring for young children, including overnight care
• Is kind, dependable, organized, and proactive
• Has a valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
• Can provide excellent references
• Can successfully complete a Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
• Is interested in building a long-term relationship with our family

Compensation is competitive and will be based on experience, availability, and responsibilities. A live-in arrangement can also be discussed with the right candidate.
