About Our Client

Our client is a newly developed, purpose-built clinic focused exclusively on the assessment and management of minor to moderate musculoskeletal injuries. The clinic is designed to fill a critical gap between primary care, urgent care, and emergency departments by providing timely, appropriate, and patient-centered medical care in an efficient and structured environment. The Minor Injury Clinic is a physician-led model built around patient quality, collaborative care, and sustainability.

The Opportunity

Physicians will focus on triage, assessment, and care planning for minor injuries, with the ability to refer patients directly to an on-site multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. The clinic is fully equipped with multiple exam rooms and medical imaging, allowing practitioners to practice efficiently and confidently from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and manage minor to moderate musculoskeletal injuries
• Perform medical triage and clinical decision-making
• Prescribe medications when clinically appropriate
• Complete required documentation, insurance forms, and referrals
• Collaborate with on-site rehabilitation providers

What We’re Looking For

• Licensed Medical Doctor eligible to practice in Manitoba
• Interest in minor injury medicine and musculoskeletal assessment
• Comfort working within a defined clinical scope
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Open to working within a multidisciplinary clinical model
• New graduates are welcome to apply

Practice Model

• Salaried or fee for service contract model
• Structured appointment lengths
• Managed daily caseloads
• Purpose-built clinic with medical exam rooms and imaging access
• Sole owner and operator with direct physician access
