Become a PostgreSQL Database Expert with Centric Software, focusing on performance and reliability in a remote setting. Bring your expertise to enhance our customer support strategies. As a Production DBA, you will join the R&D team to analyze and resolve complex database issues that impact client operations. Your role is pivotal in ensuring smooth database functionality and mentoring others in best practices related to PostgreSQL management. Your contributions will directly enhance our customers’ experiences. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and improve production database environments
- Perform complex troubleshooting and incident response
- Review and optimize slow queries and schema configurations
- Collaborate with engineering to resolve underlying issues
- Maintain thorough documentation for best practices
- Minimum 5 years as a PostgreSQL DBA
- Expertise in SQL, operational best practices, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments
- North America residency is required
