Loraas has immediate openings for a Truck and trailer/Heavy-duty Mechanic at our Saskatoon district . Our priority is to give our mechanics a great paying career with great incentives!

As a Truck and trailer or Heavy-duty Mechanic:
\n- \n
- Inspect and repair Garbage Trucks, support vehicles and smaller off-road equipment in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner. \n
- Conduct preventative maintenance using scheduled inspections to ensure all equipment and systems are operational and maintain sufficient level of operational trucks in the fleet. \n
- Maintain accurate work orders and parts charge outs using an electronic work order system \n
- Complete all safety checks and record all tire and brake measurements in the company database. \n
- Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. \n
- Works independently as well as under direction of the journeyperson mechanics and lead hands. \n
- Will be required to learn and service all post collection processing equipment and perform facility work as needed. \n

Shift: Monday to Friday - Weekly Rotating shifts of 6:00 am to 2:30 pm and 9:30 am to 6:00pm. Additionally, will be required to work 6:00am to 2:30pm every 5th Saturday.
\nRate: up to $43.27 based on experience.
\n\n
$5,000.00 Retention Bonus(with stipulations)
