Remote Data Platform Engineer at TechedIn

Become a key player in TechedIn's team as a Data Platform Engineer in a fully remote setting. Leverage your data engineering expertise to design and operationalize robust data models and pipelines. TechedIn seeks an experienced Data Platform Engineer with over five years of experience. You will develop and test both batch and streaming data workflows, ensuring production-ready solutions that meet analytics needs. Collaborate with a global engineering team to manage a prioritized backlog effectively. Key Responsibilities:

Design logical and physical data models
Build analytics-ready Tier-2 data models
Develop ingestion and transformation pipelines
Implement data-quality controls and validation
Troubleshoot defects and conduct root-cause analysis

Requirements:

5+ years in data engineering or distributed systems
Strong skills in Python, Java, and SQL
Experience with batch and streaming data architectures
Familiarity with Apache Iceberg and Airflow
Knowledge of CI/CD and code reviews
