Temporary Live-In Nanny – Two Girls | August 14–28 Location: Burnaby, BC Start date: August 14, 2026 End date: August 28, 2026 Position: Temporary live-in nanny Children: Two girls, ages 6 and 9 About the Position I am looking for a warm, responsible, reliable and experienced live-in nanny to care for my two daughters (ages 6 and 9) for approximately two weeks while I am away. The girls are happy, active and independent for their ages. They will be attending summer camp and swimming lessons during the weekdays, so the position will primarily involve getting them ready in the morning, transportation to/from their scheduled activities, meals, supervision, and keeping them engaged and comfortable at home. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with school-aged children and would appreciate a temporary live-in arrangement. Dates & Schedule August 14-17 August 19-28 The exact daily schedule will vary based on the girls’ summer camp and swimming schedules. Typical responsibilities may include:

• Morning routine and getting the girls ready for the day
• Preparing simple breakfasts, lunches and dinners
• Taking the girls to and from summer camp and swimming lessons
• Supervising the girls at home before/after activities
• Helping with bathing, bedtime and evening routines
• Keeping the girls entertained with age-appropriate activities
• Light tidying related to the children (dishes, toys, children’s laundry, etc.)
• Ensuring the girls follow their normal routines and schedules
• Communicating with me regularly while I am away

The girls are comfortable entertaining themselves and do not require constant structured activities. The main priority is having a safe, responsible adult present and available to care for them. What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate is:

• Experienced caring for children around ages 6–9
• Warm, patient and nurturing
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable preparing simple meals
• Comfortable driving /transporting children to activities or willing to use public transportation/Uber where appropriate
• Comfortable with a live-in arrangement
• CPR/First Aid certified (preferred)
• Able to provide references
• Comfortable caring for two children independently
• A non-smoker

Accommodation A private sleeping space will be provided in our home for the duration of the assignment. The nanny will have access to the kitchen, bathroom and common areas and will be treated respectfully as a guest in our home. I am open to discussing a flat weekly rate for the live-in period with the right candidate. Food/groceries for the girls and yourself will be provided, and any reasonable expenses directly related to the children’s scheduled activities will be covered. A Little About Us We are a busy but organized family with two wonderful daughters. They have an established routine and are used to being cared for by trusted adults. I will provide a detailed schedule, emergency contacts, information about their activities, meal preferences, bedtime routines and anything else needed to make the transition easy.
