About the Role
A Few Good Lads is looking for a reliable and hardworking Driver / Mover to assist with a moving project on June 17 . This role involves driving, loading, unloading, and safely transporting furniture, equipment, and other items while providing excellent service on-site.
The ideal candidate will be physically fit, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Previous moving or delivery experience is an asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles and transport items to and from job sites
- Load and unload furniture, boxes, equipment, and other materials
- Protect and secure items during transport to prevent damage
- Assist with packing, moving, and organizing items as required
- Follow directions from supervisors and clients
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude on-site
- Adhere to all safety procedures and traffic regulations
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items safely and repeatedly throughout the day
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Physically fit and comfortable performing manual labour
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous moving, delivery, or general labour experience
- Experience driving larger vehicles such as cargo vans or moving trucks
