Electrical Engineering Design Specialist

Become an Electrical Engineering Design Specialist with WSP, focusing on the Centre Block Rehabilitation Project in Ottawa. Bring your REVIT MEP expertise to this transformative heritage project and work collaboratively in a design-assist environment. This role is ideal for professionals with a minimum of two years in electrical design and a passion for historical building projects. You will develop electrical systems, calculate design specifications, and prepare documentation while coordinating closely with a diverse team of engineers and architects. Your contributions will ensure high-quality, reliable project outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate MEP electrical systems using REVIT
- Prepare design calculations and technical documentation
- Participate in integrated team meetings for project success
- Create accurate electrical drawings for construction phases
- Assist in model clash resolution across disciplines
- At least 2 years of electrical design experience
- Actively pursuing P.Eng. or C.E.T. in Ontario
- Proficient in fire alarm systems and LV distribution
- Familiarity with Canadian building codes and LEED standards
- Quick adaptability in collaborative settings
