Position: Long Haul Truck Driver
Salary: CAD $32.00 per hour
Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, full-time
Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
Work Schedule: Early morning, morning, day and evening
Start Date: As soon as possible

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: One year to less than two years
On-Site Work: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Responsibilities
Provide professional customer service
Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
Load and unload goods
Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold-storage equipment and other equipment
Perform brake adjustments
Conduct pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections
Oversee all aspects of the vehicle
Perform preventive maintenance
Receive and relay information to central dispatch
Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Tarp loads and ensure the safety and security of cargo
