310T Truck & Coach Technician (Afternoon)

At London Transit, our 310T Technicians play a vital role in ensuring our buses move people to their desired destinations comfortably and safely every day. Join our Fleet & Facilities team and help diagnose, troubleshoot and repair our state-of-the-art buses and keep them reliably on our roads, providing a great service to our customers!

Current Opportunities

• Afternoons – 3:00pm to 11:00pm (rotating weekends)

Salary, per the Collective Agreement

Afternoon Shift

• $44.14 per hour (earn $55.18 per hour on Sundays)

Training & Licenses

• Upgrade to the requisite C license provided by London Transit
• Upgrade to the requisite Z endorsement is arranged and paid for by London Transit
• London Transit covers the annual renewal costs of all requisite licenses

Requirements

• 310T Mechanic License (Licensed Truck & Coach Technician)
• G class Ontario Driver's License (upgrade to C License provided if needed)
• Upgrade to Air Brake (Z) endorsement (training arranged and paid for if needed)
• Grade 12 Education or Equivalent (This document must meet the criteria for acceptable proof of Grade 12 or the equivalent)
• Related diesel experience (Cummins preferred)
• Demonstrated customer service skills
• Ability to work in a team environment

Should a conditional offer of employment be extended to you, all three (3) of the following documents will need to be provided to London Transit:

• Copy of your valid 310T license
• Copy of your valid G class (or higher) Ontario Driver's License
• Police Information Check from the municipality in which applicants reside. If a records check reveals a criminal record for which a pardon has not been granted, the candidate will not proceed in the selection process for further assessment. Police Information Checks cannot be older than 14 days upon submission.
