Mechanical BIM Designer at HDR
HDR, Inc.
Become a vital part of HDR as a Mechanical BIM Designer, contributing to innovative building projects across Canada and North America. Engage in enhancing infrastructure through advanced modeling and design strategies. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Mechanical engineers and multidisciplinary teams to create and maintain high-quality Mechanical models and drawings. You will engage from the design phase through construction, ensuring deliverables align with project requirements. This position demands expertise in BIM workflows, Mechanical systems, and a collaborative spirit. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and coordinate Mechanical BIM models and drawings
- Create detailed layouts using current 3D software
- Maintain project models and ensure digital output meets standards
- Proactively communicate project progress and issues
- Coordinate designs with other disciplines effectively
- Technical degree or 3 years of industry experience
- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with 3D modeling tools
- Knowledge of engineering or architectural concepts
