Senior Estimator for General Contractors

Join Taylor Ryan as a Senior Estimator, supporting General Contractor clients in Calgary and Edmonton. This role focuses on large-scale ICI projects valued over $25 million. You will leverage your estimating expertise to prepare detailed proposals, manage subcontractor relationships, and engage in client discussions. The position includes opportunities for growth into Estimating or Preconstruction Management, and offers a competitive salary between $125,000 - $160,000 plus a generous benefits package. Key Responsibilities:

• Create accurate estimates and proposals for ICI projects
• Review and level subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Participate in meetings with clients and project stakeholders
• Mentor junior staff and help train estimating teams
• Continually update estimating software and methodologies

Requirements:

• 5+ years of estimating experience in General Contracting
• Experience with ICI projects worth $25 million or more
• Background in mentoring junior estimators is an asset
• Familiarity with various construction methodologies beneficial
• Strong connections and an updated pricing database
