Here's how a Yard Supervisor for PCL Tools Inc. within Edmonton Industrial Management contributes to our team:

Responsibilities

• Managing the full order lifecycle, including order intake, fulfillment, tracking, backorders, and issue resolution.
• Acting as the primary contact for project teams, vendors, and internal customers regarding tool and material requests.
• Coordinating inventory, procurement, and logistics to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Communicating order status, delivery schedules, and inventory availability to stakeholders.
• Building strong customer relationships, resolving service issues, and driving continuous improvement through customer feedback.
• Leading safe warehouse operations in accordance with the Yard HSE Plan and PCL HSE Manual.
• Supervising equipment uses, inspections, maintenance, and material handling activities.
• Collaborating with team for inventory accuracy, asset tracking, tool control, and quarantine processes.
• Coordinating freight, shipping, receiving, and related documentation.
• Ensuring efficient storage, utilization, and movement of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Training and directing staff in shipping, receiving, handling, and asset management procedures.
• Managing workflows, schedules, and resources to meet customer and operational requirements.
• Establishing performance expectations and promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and service.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and enhance customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of warehouse, logistics, supply chain, order management, or customer service experience.
• Indirect supervisory experience.
• Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of inventory management, construction tools, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift and material handling experience considered an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory/asset management systems.
