Business Systems Specialist

Job Responsibility:

Tradable Bits is an award-winning tech company that helps music, entertainment, and sports brands build better fan experiences. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business System Specialist to join the Product team. You must have a solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, experience working in a web based software environment, and excellent communication skills.

The successful applicant should be available to work from our Vancouver office.

As our Business Systems Specialist you will play a hands-on role in the management of custom development projects for our partners, going from the ideation phase all the way through to delivery. You must have a solid understanding of web-based technology, the ability to juggle multiple projects at once, and take pride in managing project frameworks and timelines. You will be responsible for working closely with internal teams, interfacing with stakeholders while also getting your hands dirty providing quality assurance on new products and custom builds.

What You Will Do:

• Quickly master the Tradable Bits platform and know the ins-and-outs of our complex, evolving technology
• Confer with clients to identify and document project requirements
• Assist in the management of custom development projects including timeline, statements of work and completion criteria
• Collaborate closely with our internal teams to prioritize the resolution of any client concerns, bugs, or new features on the platform
• Critically evaluate design mocks for new products and features, working with UX/UI design to ensure designs address the scope and function of product scopes
• Communicate progress reports to the Product Development team and other internal stakeholders.
• Assist with the development of project management processes and internal tools for keeping track of and reporting on project progress.
• Test new features or products deployed for client use and report on issues or bugs

Skills and Attributes:

• High stakes and fast moving project management skills
• Basic experience using Figma
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently
• Experience using project management software and tools such as Asana, Open Project and Gantt Charts
• Able to work cross-functionally and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years industry experience
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related discipline
• Proven success managing a SaaS or web-based project from conception to completion
• Understanding or experience with SCRUM, KANBAN or other development methodologies
• Understanding and experience with Project Management methodologies such as CPM, CCPM
