Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care

Location: Brampton, ON
Job Type: Full-Time (30–40 hours/week)
Compensation: $60+/hour

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our busy Primary Care Clinic in Brampton.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
• Fully certified Nurse Practitioner
• Independent licence to practice in Ontario
• Previous primary care experience preferred
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
• Provide preventive care and patient education
• Complete approximately 10–20 phone appointments and 10–20 in-person appointments per clinic day
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care
