Our client in North Saanich, BC, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Document Control Clerk to assist in catching up on inventory-related documentation. This role involves managing production records, retrieving and returning physical documents, and operating specialized scanning equipment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the physical capability to handle document retrieval tasks.

Responsibilities
• Scan production records using high-throughput scanners and computer software.
• Count pages and verify accurate scanning of files.
• Ensure all files are correctly stored and cataloged in the system.

• Retrieve and return documents to designated inventory locations based on provided instructions.
• Handle physical documents stored in cardboard tubes, including unrolling, selecting the correct drawings, and re-rolling them for storage.

Qualifications
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in operating scanning equipment and related computer software.
• Ability to handle physical tasks, such as retrieving and re-rolling documents, including lifting and managing items stored in cardboard tubes.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with inventory control or document management systems is an asset.
• Must be able to perform tasks requiring upper-body mobility, such as handling rolls of documents and operating scanning equipment.
