Commercial Fleet Manager

Job Responsibility:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Ford Fleet Manager to lead our fleet sales and operations team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Ford vehicle lineup, fleet sales programs, commercial vehicle needs, and customer relationship management. You will be responsible for growing and maintaining fleet accounts, optimizing vehicle lifecycle strategies, and ensuring compliance with OEM standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fleet Sales Management
- Develop and implement strategies to grow Ford fleet sales to business, government, and commercial customers.
- Build long-term relationships with corporate clients, rental companies, municipalities, and small business owners.
- Provide customized vehicle solutions tailored to each fleet customer's operational needs.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all fleet customers.
- Ensure exceptional service throughout the sales and post-sales process.
- Maintain a strong customer database and follow up regularly.
- Vehicle Procurement & Inventory
- Manage the ordering and allocation of Ford fleet vehicles, including commercial trucks and vans.
- Coordinate with Ford Motor Company to leverage incentive programs, availability, and upfitting options.
- Monitor fleet inventory levels and manage vehicle turnovers efficiently.
- Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure all fleet operations comply with Ford's commercial sales policies and regulatory standards.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and ROI analyses.
- Track vehicle deliveries, registrations, and fleet program performance metrics.
- Team Leadership
- Supervise and support fleet coordinators, delivery drivers, and support staff as needed.
- Provide training on Ford's latest fleet offerings, technologies, and financing programs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in automotive fleet sales or fleet management (Ford experience highly preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Ford commercial vehicle products (e.g., Transit, Super Duty, F-150).
- Understanding of fleet financing, leasing, and maintenance plans.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills.
- Proficient with CRM tools and fleet management software.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Ford Fleet programs (e.g., FIN codes, Ford Pro, telematics solutions).
- Experience working with municipal or government bids.
- Ability to manage upfitting vendors and specialized commercial modifications.

Pay: $120,000.00-$250,000.00 per year
