Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the sanitation team’s activities and oversee day-to-day operations on the floor
  • Ensure compliance with cleaning, sanitation, and hygiene programs according to established standards and procedures
  • Conduct inspections, participate in GMP rounds, identify gaps, and follow up on corrective actions
  • Contribute to trend analysis related to environmental results, equipment, swabs, and luminometer readings
  • Investigate sanitation-related non-conformities and deviations, and implement appropriate corrective and preventive measures
  • Ensure availability, compliance, and updating of documentation related to sanitation activities
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and external suppliers to plan and support sanitation activities
  • Act as the main point of contact for pest control management and ensure follow-up on visits, reports, and required actions
  • Participate in employee training and support the maintenance of food safety programs

Profile Sought

  • Hands-on leadership, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage priorities
  • Results-oriented and focused on action and internal/external customer service
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on process improvement
  • Knowledge of safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and HACCP principles
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite
  • Strong command of French (spoken and written); functional English

Requirements

  • College diploma, vocational training, or other relevant education in food, quality, or a related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Availability for periodic presence on the night shift
